Brown took his right hand and shoved Rihanna’s head against the passenger window of the vehicle, causing a one-inch raised circular contusion. She turned to face him and he punched her in the left eye, and continued punching her while steering the vehicle with his left hand. The pummeling caused Rihanna’s mouth to fill with blood, and blood to splatter all over her clothing and the vehicle. Brown then looked Rihanna square in the eye and reportedly said, “I’m going to beat the shit out of you when we get home! You wait and see!”
Chris Brown does not deserve forgiveness, even if Rihanna may be hooking up with him again, writes Marlow Stern. (This Tumblrer couldn’t agree more.)
cont’d
Rihanna attempted to call her assistant, who did not answer, according to the report. She then pretended to talk to her and told her to have the police ready when she got home. Upon hearing this, Brown looked at her and reportedly screamed, “You just did the stupidest thing ever! Now I’m really going to kill you!” He continued striking her on her left arm and hand, causing a contusion to her left triceps two inches in diameter as well as numerous contusions on her left hand. Rihanna went to text her other assistant and Brown snatched her cellphone away and threw it out of the car. She then went for his cellphone and he put her in a headlock while steering the vehicle with his left hand. He bit her left ear and continued to rain punches down on her face and arms. When he began choking her, she started to lose consciousness. With her left hand, she gouged at his eyes in an attempt to free herself. He bit her fingers and continued punching her, all while Rihanna desperately screamed for help.
I think that the people saying, “Chris Brown beat a woman and got a Grammy for it” are completely wrong because the two events are independent. I do however understand that Chris Brown did a horrible thing and still gets rewarded in an industry that failed to correct his action in an appropriate manner.
I come from two generations of households plagued with domestic violence, and the bravest thing my mother did for me was to leave that tense and life-threatening environment. The most courageous thing any person can do is to turn away from someone you love, because if they loved you, they would never show you that much disrespect.
Yes, Chris Brown may have some shred of talent, but we are talking about about an industry that is inundated with talent, and any other singer/dancer could and should take his spot. After all, there is no sense of dignity in idolizing someone so reprehensible. And for those that say he’s paid his dues, 1). He actually hasn’t because he only got probation, 2). He’s still showing events of erratic behavior, and 3). Everyone tries to skirt around the subject or hold their tongues, when it should always be remembered what he did.
People seem to want to forget that it happened, justifying it by saying that Rihanna’s already forgiven him, but just because she chooses to forget, doesn’t mean the public owes him any form of exoneration.
I have to this day not bought a single Chris Brown song and deleted the only song I ever purchased on iTunes from him. It’s my $0.99 gesture of protest.
Reblogging in disgust.

Thank you, for giving this the attention it deserves. If you’ve seen his Twitter feed, you’ll see just exactly how not sorry Brown is. The Grammy’s giving him air time, and an award was a simply big f*** you to women everywhere.
